Why do we follow the new testament if it was supposedly wrote by a heretic?

Maybe you are thinking of Wycliffe who printed the Bible in the common language, he didn't write it. He was put to death by the catholic church for doing so. Their fear was if the common people could read the Scriptures, they would have no need for priests, bishops, cardinals and the pope, and would see the nonsense catholics p off as Christianity.
