Can mom dads behavior effect Children?

My Ex Girlfriend was very cold, she said she not good at relationships, and always up and down, argumentative. She blames her parents for the way she is, she is 38 and still not married, very attractive girl, she said her parents argued all the time, and her parents only togther because of the her and her brothers. Can this effect her outlook on relationships. Can it make her so insecure that she runs away all the time. Thanks for your answers...
