What is Philip Larkin's poem "Love songs in age" all about?

It seems she wanted people to hear her songs, but she did not have faith they would be liked. So she kept them to herself and when in her golden years found her aspirations turned into faded dreams. She wishes she had not waited so long and she is letting others know not to let their dreams go.
