Typical allergy /hay-fever symptoms?

I have an allergy to tree pollen.For the past three days I have had post nasal drip,itch in the throat,runny nose,sneezing.Yesterday the right side of my throat started hurting from the coughing,and today my head feels like it is stuffed with Cotton and my right ear feels stuffed up.Are these typical allergy symptoms?Also what is a good product for all of these symptoms-and no clariten or Zyrtec they do not work for me I have tried.I am currently just using Nyquil at night and NyQuil during the day or an antihistamine tablet(generic).GOD-bless
